WAUKEGAN — Police executed two search warrants Thursday and seized cash, heroin, crack cocaine and marijuana.

The first search warrant was served at 215 S. County St., a first-floor apartment. Officers found 11 grams of crack cocaine, 44.3 grams of marijuana and $188 in cash.

Harold Davis, 28, was charged with unlawful possession of a controlled substance, unlawful possession with intent to deliver and unlawful possession of marijuana, police said.

In the second search warrant, police went to 814 Massena Ave. where officers seized 2.6 grams of heroin and more than $1,250 in cash. Frank Gordon Jr., 32, was charged with unlawful possession of a controlled substance and unlawful possession with intent to deliver, police said.

Gordon was also wanted on an outstanding arrest warrant for unlawful possession of a controlled substance.

Both suspects were being held in Lake County Jail on $100,000 bond.

“Although I am extremely pleased with the continued success we are having in executing search warrants, I look forward to drug dealers leaving this community,” said Police Chief Dan Greathouse.

“I encourage all residents to contact the police if they suspect there is a drug house in their neighborhood. The police and residents need to continue to work together in order to eradicate our community of drugs.”
