GRAYSLAKE — Metra officials have set a public hearing on the rail agency’s fiscal year 2013 proposed budget at an open house tonight at the Grayslake Village Hall.
The session for Lake County will be held from 4 to 7 p.m. in the Village Hall’s board and community room at 10 S. Seymour Ave.
This is the second round of open houses following similar ones in July across the Metra service region.
The session provides “one-stop shopping” for the public to give us their thoughts on near-term budget plans and longer-term agency strategic direction, according to Metra officials.
Information about the open house meetings and the opportunities for public feedback can be found at www.metrarail.com/strategicplan. Feedback will be accepted through Nov. 12.
