He is about 5 years old, neutered, up-to-date on routine shots and rabies, heartworm negative and on preventative and microchipped. Dyson’s adoption fee is 50 percent off this holiday season. If you adopt him, his dog walker friends will be sending him a holiday package with a lot of goodies, all this because they really want to see him find his family.
If you want to adopt Dyson or any other pet at Save-A-Pet, 31664 N. Fairfield Road, near Grayslake, call (847) 740-7788; or visit www.saveapetil.org.
Hours are 11 a.m. to 5 pm. Monday, Wednesday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday; 1 to 8 p.m. Thursday; and closed on Tuesday.

What can I say ... they got me as a puppy, and when a new baby came along, they said good-bye.
Like many other dogs, I sometimes do get excited when someone rings the door bell, and their conclusion was that I was often scared of new people. Maybe they didn’t take me to many places when I was a puppy. They also mentioned that I didn’t walk well on leash.
But here I am always a perfect gentleman. I am a bit shy sometimes but this hasn’t prevented me from becoming the favorite dog of quite a few dog-walkers. They love my pointy ears and how I trot nicely. If they stop to talk to someone, I quietly sit down and wait for our walk to resume.
I sure hope to find a quiet home, maybe even with another dog, as I used to live with one and get along really well with them.
I am camera-shy and that’s why I always look so serious.
