Two Waukegan women were indicted by a Lake County grand jury on residential arson charges.
Dominique Rivera, 29, and Maylene Vasquez, 34, are accused of trying to burn down the North Chicago residence of two women who they were in a dispute with, according to North Chicago Police Cmdr. George McClary.
Rivera and Vasquez allegedly set fire to the front door of a residence in the 1500 block of Victoria Avenue, North Chicago, on Oct. 14, according to court documents.
McClary said he was not certain how much damage was done to the residence, but that the fire was extinguished quickly. There were no injuries.
Rivera and Vasquez face four to 15 years in prison if they are convicted of residential arson.
They are due for arraignment Dec. 19. Both are free from custody after posting 10 percent of a $10,000 bond.
