OLD MILL CREEK — A Beach Park man faces multiple charges after he was pulled over for no headlights Thursday night and police found 1.2 pounds of marijuana inside the vehicle.

Quincy Brown, 29, of the 10000 block of Bairstow Avenue, was arrested for possession of a controlled substance, possession of over 500 grams, possession with intent to deliver, possession of drug paraphernalia and traffic offenses.

Brown’s vehicle was stopped at 10:15 p.m. by a Lake County Sheriff’s Office deputy at Wadsworth and Hunt Club roads in Old Mill Creek for driving without headlights. The deputy could smell marijuana inside the vehicle and a search turned up the drugs.

Brown’s 1999 GMC pickup truck is pending forfeiture pursuant to the Illinois Cannabis Control Act. His bond was set at $5,000.
