Fatal shot appears to be self-inflicted

The Lake County Coroner’s Office was called in response to a white female who had been shot in her Antioch residence Saturday, according to Lake County Coroner Dr. Thomas Rudd.
His office was called in about 10 p.m. Saturday to a residence on Hickory Lane. Debora Ruggiero, 32, had apparently shot herself in the head while she was in bed, Rudd said. Her husband was reportedly home at the time.
Further information was not immediately available Sunday.
