Area high school and youth baseball coaches are invited to the Illinois High School Baseball Coaches Association’s annual Coaches Clinic.
This event will be held on Friday and Saturday (Jan. 25-26) in Lombard at the Westing Lombard in Yorktown Center.
The program has been put together by area coaching legend Chuck Gandolfi, who is the IHSBCA’s state clinic director.
Heading the list of speakers will be future MLB Hall of Fame manager Tony LaRussa. He will speak on Saturday.
Virtually every topic concerning coaching baseball will be addressed by an expert in the field.
To register for the clinic and the Hall of Fame Dinner, go to Web site www.ihigh.com/ihsbca/ then click on the “membership” link, print it, and send the page with payment to Dave Kalal at York High School. His contact information is at the bottom of that page.
