Cancellations around Lake County due to snow storm

The snow storm has caused cancellations for meetings, after-school programs, extra curricular activities and classes for Tuesday afternoon, Feb. 26, throughout Lake County, including the following:
Waukegan School District 60
The District’s STARS program.
All SES tutoring and ELL tutoring.
Waukegan High School after-school club activities and athletics programs.
All Extended Day Learning Opportunities.
Carman-Buckner Elementary School’s Girl Scouts program. Additionally, Carman-Buckner’s Kindergarten Curriculum Night is being rescheduled for March 6 at 5 p.m.
Cooke Magnet School after-school clubs.
Jack Benny Middle School after-school programs.
Twilight School at AOEC.
The Board of Education meeting scheduled for Tuesday, Feb. 26, is expected to be postponed until Wednesday, Feb. 27. Board Members will meet this evening, and are expected to immediately recess and schedule to reconvene on Wednesday. Board Members will meet tomorrow in closed session beginning at 5 p.m. in Room 120 at Lincoln Center, 1201 North Sheridan Road, Waukegan. At 7 p.m. they will move to open session in the Lincoln Center Board Room.
Woodland School District 50
All after school activities are cancelled. Buses may be delayed. The Board of Education meeting for this evening will take place as scheduled. College of Lake County Watch the CLC website at www.clcillinois.edu for updates on Wednesday, Feb. 27. The Board of Trustees meeting, scheduled for 6 p.m. Tuesday will be rescheduled.
