The athletic and music programs at Waukegan High School were the big winners at Saturday’s 17th annual Waukegan High School Booster Club Auction, but there were no losers.
A good time was had by all as funds were raised for important extracurricular activities at the school through raffles, and silent and live auctions at the event, held at the Lake County Sports Center (formerly the Oakwood Racket Club) on the west side of Waukegan.
Funds were raised through the selling of admission tickets, plus money paid for raffle tickets and auction items.
Emceeing the event were Robert Kutzler and Curt Day, and the large crowd included many coaches of athletic teams at Waukegan High school.
