FOX LAKE HILLS — A Lake Villa woman was freed on bail after a search of her van following a traffic stop turned up marijuana, cocaine and heroin last week.

Stacie Vickers, 38, of the 24000 block of West Forest Drive in Lake Villa was freed from the Lake County Jail after paying 10 percent of a $25,000 last Tuesday, April 23, according to a statement from Lake County Sheriff’s police.

She was charged with six felonies: possession and possession with intent to deliver cannabis, cocaine, and heroin; and a misdemeanor count of possession of drug paraphernalia, according to the sheriff’s office.

At about 9 p.m. on April 22, Vickers’ white 2001 Pontiac van was southbound on Route 59 near Busse Lane in Fox Lake Hills when she was stopped by a sheriff’s deputy, who smelled marijuana in the car, according to the statement.

A search of the van turned up 78.6 grams of cannabis, 9.4grams of cocaine, 3 grams of heroin, paraphernalia and $1,062 in cash, according to police.

Vickers is next scheduled to appear in court on April 30 in Waukegan.
