The Mundelein Farmers Market has secured a major sponsor only two years after launching.

CashAdvance.com announced Monday, July 29, it would support the market in downtown Mundelein.

“Although the Market has only been running for two years, it has made a big impact on its local community and economy, and we at Cash Advance are so excited to be a part of that and a part of its growth,” a spokesperson said in a prepared statement.

This year, the market features 25 vendors, several of them newcomers, and new additions designed to give visitors a fresh experience every Friday.

One is a tented area where visitors can eat and hear live music.

The market continues with Kid’s Day, offering rides on Mundelein Fire Department trucks, crafts and two shows by balloon artist Amber Burkey and vocalist Emily Bednar Friday, Aug. 2.

The market sits at the corner of Park Street and Seymour Avenue from 3 to 7 p.m. Fridays until October.
