Police arrest 23 underage drinkers during homecoming weekend

Buffalo Grove police arrested 23 young people while breaking up a pair of parties that involved alcohol during Stevenson High School’s homecoming weekend.
The parties were held early Sept. 28 at 59 Chestnut Terrace and early Sept. 29 on the 2800 block of Acacia Terrace.
At the first party, officers responded to a noise complaint and arrested the alleged host, Daniel M. Spivak, 19, charging him with possession and consumption of alcohol and violating the social host law.
Also arrested, inside and outside the house, were Lance H. Diamond, 19, of 371 Springside Lane, Buffalo Grove; Matthew A. Lazaretti, 19, of 900 Cherry Valley, Vernon Hills; Flavio R. Marquez-Bonilla, 18, of 15731 Woodbine Circle, Vernon Hills; Alize R. Nance, 18, of 285 E. Court of Shorewood, Vernon Hills; Anna L. Sadkhin, 19, of 2832 Whispering Oaks, Buffalo Grove; Christopher L. Larson, 20, of 822 Old Checker Court, Buffalo Grove and a 17-year-old Buffalo Grove boy, all charged with possession and consumption of alcohol.
In the second case, officers got a tip about a party in progress and arrive to find one attendee vomiting in the driveway.
Party-goers who were arrested and charged with possession and consumption of alcohol included: Five 15-year-old Buffalo Grove boys, a 15-year-old Kildeer boy, two 15-year-old Buffalo Grove girls, two 15-year-old Long Grove girls, two 15-year-old girls from Lincolnshire, one 16-year-old Kildeer boy, a 16-year-old Buffalo Grove girl and one 17-year-old girl from Buffalo Grove.
All the youths were released at the scenes. Those arrested at Chestnut Terrace share Oct. 18 court dates in Mundelein; the Acacia Terrace party-goers will appear in court Nov. 8.
