Victoria’s Secret in South Barrington has been targeted by shoplifters twice since Nov. 9, and the thieves got away with 72 bras worth more than $3,600, police said.
According to South Barrington police, a store employee reported Nov. 26 that 36 bras valued at $1,771 were taken from a display table.
On Nov. 9, another 36 bras valued at $1,919 were stolen.
Police said security cameras show two individuals, a man and a woman, that appear to be the same couple involved in both incidents.
The same South Barrington store, located at 100 W. Higgins Road, also was robbed Oct. 4. A police report states that three people entered the store and removed more than $500 worth of merchandise.
Police also investigated a report of theft Sept. 25 in which $2,200 worth of merchandise was stolen. Store employees said three women were involved in that incident, according to police reports.
