A northwest suburban woman who caused an accident on the West Side while allegedly high has been ordered held on a $50,000 bond.

Julie McPike, 51, of Barrington, was arrested Wednesday after she hit three parked vehicles in the 1100 block of West Madison Street, authorities said. She was ordered held on a $50,000 bond Friday by Judge Laura Sullivan.

She was taken to Rush University Medical Center to be treated for injuries after the crash, according to police. No one else was hurt.

She also faces misdemeanor counts of driving under the influence of a drug, driving an uninsured vehicle, driving on a revoked license and failure to notify damage to an unattended vehicle.

Additionally, she faces citations for failure to reduce speed and driving on the sidewalk.
