First Midwest Bank in Waukegan robbed

Police are searching for a man who robbed a First Midwest Bank branch Wednesday afternoon in Waukegan.
The robbery happened about 12:30 p.m. at the bank at 1201 Golf Road, FBI spokeswoman Joan Hyde said.
The man passed a note to a teller demanding money, according to Hyde. He implied he had a weapon but did not show one.
He the ran out of the bank after receiving an undisclosed amount of cash, according to the FBI. No one was injured.
Authorities describe the robber as a black man with a thin to medium build, standing 6 feet to 6-foot-4.
He was wearing a black leather jacket, dark pants with white stripes on the sides, and a black, blue and gray shirt. He was also wearing black and white athletic shoes, a black knit cap, black gloves and black mirrored sunglasses.
