Promoted: The board of directors of Fanning Howey, Park Ridge-based architects, has named Greg Monberg director of design research. As director of design research, Monberg is responsible for directing Fanning Howey’s research into new trends in educational facilities planning and design. He has been extensively published in national and regional trade magazines. Monberg currently serves as project architect for the expansion of multiple schools within Waukegan Unit School District 60. He also served as the project designer for the renovation and expansion of Wilmot Elementary School and an administration building in Deerfield School District 109, and served as project designer for the Gurnee Grade School District 56 new district office building and the renovation and expansion of O’Plaine School.

Center for Wellness: Melanie Dillon, owner of Center For Wellness Counseling and Education, Inc., Mundelein, is expanding her business. Since 1993, Dillon, a licensed clinical professional counselor, has been providing mental health counseling services to Lake County residents. On Feb. 1, she will partner with Dr. Jonathan Engstrom, chiropractor, and Dr. John Schreindl, acupuncture/chiropractor, to begin the Center For Wellness, Inc. Also on staff is Jennifer Brown, licensed massage therapist.
