College trustee: Barbara Martin, president and CEO of Vista Health System, is among the most recent appointments to the board of trustees of Lewis University in Romeoville Martin is an alumna of Lewis where she earned both a bachelor of science in nursing and MBA. Martin has served as president and CEO of Vista Health System, which has a Lake County workforce of some 1,200 employees and 350 physicians.

YMCA director: The Lake County Family YMCA has elected former Grayslake Mayor Tim Perry to its board of directors. Perry, senior vice president at State Bank of The Lakes, has 30 years of experience providing banking and lending services to individuals and business customers. He has helped many small businesses start in Lake County. Perry was Grayslake mayor from 2001 to 2009. He also has served on the Central Lake County Joint Action Water Agency Board where he was vice chair for two years, the Lake County Stormwater Management Commission Board, Grayslake village trustee, Grayslake Chamber of Commerce board of directors and former Chamber president, Grayslake Exchange Club member and Lake County Contractors’ Association, Government Affairs Committee.

Granada joins Vista: Vista Health System has announced the addition of Dr. Wilfredo Granada as the newest member of the Vista Physician Group. He practices internal medicine with a primary area of interest in cardiovascular disease. The Vista Physician Group is a team of 35 physicians with offices located throughout Lake County. Granada earned his medical degree from Far Eastern University School of Medicine in Manila, Philippines, and completed his residency at Illinois Masonic Medical Center in Chicago. He is based in the Vista Physician Group office in Zion, 2629 Sheridan Road, Suite C.
