GURNEE — Gurnee Mills will expand its retail mix in November with the opening of a New Balance shoe store.
“We are thrilled to add New Balance to our growing mix of more than 200 fashion-forward outlet and value retail stores,” Randy Ebertowski, general manager at Gurnee Mills, said Wednesday. “This fine new addition will enhance Gurnee Mills’ selection of fashionable stores, including a list of athletic retailers offering the latest style trends.”
The New Balance store will be located by Entrance A near Sports Authority, H&M and Sears Grand.
The announcement of the New Balance store is in addition to the already announced grand opening of Macy’s, a nearly 140,000 square-foot full-line department store that is slated to open in late-summer 2013.
Macy’s will anchor a new full-price wing at Gurnee Mills and will be located on the south side of the property between Entrances C and D, near Rainforest Café.
