United Way of Lake County’s Women’s Leadership Council: “Power of the Purse” to be held from 6 to 8 p.m. at The Arboretum Club, 401 Half Day Road, Buffalo Grove. Women from Lake County are invited to enjoy an evening of networking, wine tasting and a vendor fair featuring desserts, purses, jewelry and more. The annual event brings together women that want to make a difference in their community. Vendors have agreed to donate 10 percent of all purchases to United Way of Lake County’s efforts.
