Reader comment: Took one hostile board member to get this done. Once this is all set in stone, you are going to see that this deal could have been finalized prior to the strike.

Editorial: What SB16 mostly provides is the first shot in a loud, hostile war between the haves and have-nots.
Submission: I like what the Waukegan mayor and the aldermen had to say about the teachers strike. They have common sense and they also spoke the truth.
