Craft beer fest in Mundelein

MUNDELEIN — Mundelein Community Connection will hold a Craft Beer Festival on Saturday from 1-5 p.m. at 161 N. Archer Ave., (by the Metra station).

The festival will feature 20 craft-beer vendors from throughout the Chicago area, plus Mundelein’s own Tighthead Brewery.

Entrance fee is $35. Guests receive a commemorative logo-pint glass and unlimited three-ounce samples, plus music in a nice atmosphere.

In addition to beer, there will be food available for purchase. Entertainment will be provided by The Hicks, featuring Peter Quinn, and Private Drive. Guests must be 21 years of age or older.

Tickets are on sale at Mundelein Community Connection, Mundelein Community Bank, Northside Community Bank, PNC Bank and online at line at www.tightheadbrewing.com.

Designated drivers are welcome.

The entry fee for designated drivers is $15. Designated drivers get free water, pop and the commemorative pint glass. For more information call, (847) 970-9235.
