Folk club concert at In-Laws in Gurnee

Lil Rev will perform Oct. 21 at 7 p.m. at In-Laws Restaurant in Gurnee.

GURNEE — The Lake County Folk Club will present Lil Rev in concert Oct. 21 at 7 p.m. at In-Laws Restaurant, 720 Milwaukee Ave.
Admission is $12; $10 for seniors and members; and $5 for teens. Call (847) 602-8882 by noon on the day of the concert for reservations.
Lil Rev was born in 1968 in Milwaukee, where he currently resides. He graduated from John Marshall High School in 1987 and went on to receive his bachelor’s degree from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee.
While he is hopelessly Midwestern, his frequent travels find him teaching and touring all over the continental U.S. His many unique niches include one-man shows of Jewish cultural history, scraps of quilting music, Yiddish song and story,
Jeff Holland will open for Lil Rev.
