‘Nutcracker’ comes to Libertyville library

LIBERTYVILLE — Dancenter North will give a special presentation of their annual production of “The Magic of the Nutcracker” on Nov. 14 at 4:15 p.m. at the Cook Park Library, 413 N. Milwaukee Ave.

Director and Producer Cheri Lindell will read the “Nutcracker” story, and special guest “Sugar Plum Fairy” will be there to talk to children about life as a ballerina.

Now in its 24th season, Dancenter North’s production of “The Magic of the Nutcracker” is the longest-running in Lake County. It features more than 100 performers, including dancers, actors, gymnasts and professional guest artists.

Registration is not required.
