GURNEE — The Lake County Folk Club will present Patty Stevenson and Craig Siemsen in concert Jan. 20 at 7 p.m. at The In-Laws Restaurant, 720 Milwaukee Ave.

Performing on guitar, harp, dulcimer, and piano, Patty’s and Craig’s harmonies and original songs have earned them a loyal audience throughout the Midwest and beyond.

Stevenson began studying music when she was 4 and is known for her singing, song writing, harp and finger-style guitar. Siemsen, a recipient of Wisconsin Arts Board and National Endowment for the Arts monies for songwriting about, and with, seniors, is described as a leading Midwest guitarist with a voice of a little grit and a little honey.

The duo will take you on a journey of musical styles with jewel-like songs and humor that sticks with you in a good way.

Opening will be Brett Johnson, a folksinger with a wide variety of styles, from traditional and beyond, and an accomplished guitarist and ukelelist.

Admission is $12; $10 for seniors and members; and $5 for teens. Call (847) 602-8882 by noon on the day of the concert for reservations. For more information, visit www.thelakecountyfolkclub.org.
