Pvt. Joseph Mazzetta, son of Richard Mazzetta and Sara Heitman, grandson of Theodore and Lynn Heitman of Libertyville, graduated from the Marine Corps Training Command. His mother, father, grandfather and aunt attended the ceremony at the Marine Corps Recruit Depot, San Diego, Calif. Joseph returned home with them to enjoy a holiday leave before returning to Camp Pendelton for additional training. He is a 2003 graduate of Zion-Benton Township High School and a 2011 graduate of DePaul University.
