Volunteers: Friends of the Library will hold an open meeting Sept. 12 at 7 p.m. Learn how this group of volunteers takes donated used books and turns them into funding for programs such as Summer and Winter Concert Series, LEGO Robotics, and the Friday Night Film Series. Many hands are needed to make these a success and new volunteers are welcome. Registration requested.
Book sale: A one day book sale will be held Sept. 15 from 1 to 4 p.m. Only adult fiction adults non-fiction books will be available for $1-2.

Commentary: Both fans and anti-fans of Twilight” can enjoy this satirical audio commentary on the first “Twilight” movie Sept. 12 at 6:45 p.m. Three comedians from Mystery Science Theater 3000 poke fun at the drama and trauma of vampire romance.
