Presentation: The public is invited to a special presentation, “Creation—Impacting Our Culture,” by Shane Cessna of Creation Ministries International at 10:30 a.m. Nov. 3 at Maranatha Baptist Church, 31457 Allegheny Road, one mile south of Route. 120. Hear answers to these questions and more: Could the majority of scientists who disbelieve the Bible’s account of the earth’s history and our origins actually be wrong? Is the earth really millions of years old as evolutionists believe? When did dinosaurs really live? Is the Bible truthful and relevant in our lives and culture today? Nursery service provided. Details, (847) 223-9050 or visit www.mbcfamily.net.
Sale: Redeemer Lutheran Church, 620 Grove Ave., will host its annual Aebelskiver Day from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Nov. 2. Aebelskivers are Danish pastries that are a cross between a pancake and a doughnut.
