Judge, jury, executioner

I find it so ironic to read the Democrat comments in TOTC praising Obama and his “reign” for killing terrorists. According to the authors, he’s now the greatest war-time president ever! These same authors, along with Obama, screamed over water boarding. Never mind the fact that these men are still alive and gave up intel that even assisted in finding bin Laden and other terrorists. The king has now become judge, jury and executioner. Forget about capturing them and that nasty interrogation process. Let’s just blow their bodies to pieces because Obama has deemed them terrorists. I personally have no problem with taking out terrorists and those aiding them, but the hypocrisy of the left is unbelievable.

Military training

Who is that character who wrote to TOTC stating that Obama as the most successful president of the U.S.? He also said Obama saved the kidnapped victims in Somalia. Obama has neither the training nor the experience of that, or even of a member of the Boy Scouts of America so how could that be possible? Look at what Obama caused in Iraq! Many have been killed very shortly after he ordered all of the U.S. military out of that troubled country. And why must he announce to our enemies and to the world when our military forces are pulling out? A true and great military leader never telegraphs his plans for obvious reasons! Obama shows he lacks basic military tactics; that he has no military training and experience. Obama must learn to take advice from our battle-tested military leaders. Then maybe he will get to be a great president!

They protect us

What’s the problem with injured Gurnee police officers getting “purple hearts”? What’s the difference in getting injured here or in Afghanistan? Last time I looked, there weren’t any Taliban at my door, but there’s plenty of gangbangers around here. These cops are protecting us and if they get hurt, they deserve some recognition.

Vote accordingly

You Democrats that feel you have to vote for the Democratic candidate just because you are a Democrat must have lost your senses. No matter who is running for president, you vote for the best person most qualified to lead this country. You do not necessarily have to vote for the Democrat, especially in this year’s coming presidential election. You must use your brain and ask yourself if you, your neighbors or this country are better off this year than they were three years ago. Then vote accordingly.

The anointed one

I chose not to listen to Obama’s State of the Union speech. He had control the first three years he was in office and did nothing! Of course, now he blames the Congress. After all, he needs someone to blame all the time. That is what he always does is play the blame game! The media needs to stop making him the anointed one because he is not!

Invade. neutralize

The person who remarked about “President Bush’s lies” concerning the Iraq’s weapons of mass destruction resulting in the invasion in 2003 omits some important points: In May of 2004, U.S. troops were injured from a sarin nerve gas IED. U.S. troops found Iraqi mustard gas artillery shells being used as IEDs. Some were defused before they were exploded. UNSCOM reported that there were still 80 tons of mustard gas unaccounted for in Iraq at the time of the invasion. The chemical weapon danger was still a documented threat until recent times. As far as the nuclear threat, an atom bomb was still a dream of Saddam, but a dirty bomb (conventional explosion would spread deadly radioactivity) was quite possible and the Iraqis would not allow inspectors to monitor the country for nuclear supplies as the 1991 peace treaty stipulated. The call was to trust Saddam that he would not use the existing weapons of mass destruction (known chemical and suspected nuclear weapons then or later); invade and neutralize Iraq as an threat. President Bush chose the latter.
