Antioch

Warrant: Zita Jones, 58, of 24251 Bayview Drive was arrested on an outstanding warrant and taken to Lake County jail recently.

Possession: Swayne D. Carranza, 25, 1520 Kenmore, Round Lake Beach was arrested and charged recently with possession of a controlled substance, obstructing a police officer, driving while license suspended, speeding and no front license plate. He was remanded to Lake County jail with bond set at $2,500.

Disorderly conduct: Jade Jerome, 45, of 195 Oakwood Drive was charged with disorderly conduct recently with an adjudication court hearing scheduled.

DUI: Eugene Raymond, 26, of 1613 Barberry, Round Lake Beach was arrested and charged recently with DUI, failure to reduce speed to avoid an accident, operating an uninsured vehicle, disobeying a traffic signal and possession of marijuana. He has a court hearing in Waukegan on Feb. 14.

Child endangerment: Mary Smaron, 26, of 277 Oakridge Court was arrested and charged with endangering the life of a child recently at her home. She has a hearing in Waukegan Feb. 13.

Gurnee

Theft: Merlin Monroy, 25, of Waukegan was charged with theft for allegedly stealing an iPhone worth $200 from the aerobics room at Warren Township High School’s Almond Campus.

Retail theft: Tai Phan, 51, of Lake Villa was charged with retail theft for allegedly stealing fragrance worth $39.99 from TJ Maxx.

Burglary: Copper piping and a refrigerator were stolen from a vacant home in the 6200 block of Formoor Lane. Forced entry was made through the front door.

Retail theft: Carleen Voltare, 21, of Waukegan was charged with retail theft for allegedly stealing $279 in clothing from Sears Grand.

DUI: James Armstrong, 37, of Zion was charged with DUI, speeding, no registration and no insurance.

DUI: Giselle Chavez, 22, of Waukegan was charged with DUI.

Disorderly conduct: Scott Randell, 41, of Beach Park was charged with public indecency for allegedly masturbating in his vehicle. A passenger on a school bus saw Randell committing the act.

Retail theft: Anibal Morales, 32, was charged with retail theft for allegedly stealing a video game cable worth $29 from Sears Grand.

Criminal trespassing: John Cannon, 20, of Waukegan was charged with criminal trespass at Gurnee Mills.

Retail theft: Hilda Diaz, 36, and Humberto Teran, 45, were charged with retail theft for allegedly stealing $84.99 in jewelry from Kohls. The North Chicago pair were released at the scene.

Retail theft: Francisco Mercado-Benhunea, 34, and Yvonne Gonzalez, 36, were charged with retail theft for allegedly stealing merchandise from Salvation Army. Mercado-Benhunea was also charged with resisting arrest.

Retail theft: Martha Rivera, 51, of Cicero was charged with retail theft for allegedly stealing $180 in jewelry from Kohls.

Retail theft: Nocoletta Purtee, 49, was charged with retail theft for allegedly stealing more than $1,000 in merchandise from Kohls.

Lindenhurst

Vandalism: A resident on Lindenhurst Drive reported to police that three tires on his vehicle were punctured recently while it was parked overnight at his home. Police are investigating but conclude that the incident is not related to a recent string of vandalism to vehicles in the village.

Jewelry theft: A resident on Northgate Road reported recently that jewelry valued at approximately $1,000 was missing from her home.

Beer theft: A resident at 2020 Woodlane reported a dozen cans of beer were stolen from the refrigerator in his garage.

Theft: Millburn West School officials reported that 26 iPad2 computers were stolen from the school at 260 Freedom Way some time over winter break. The computers were taken from the locked media center.
