Employers needed to particpate in North Chicago job fair

NORTH CHICAGO — North Chicago High School is looking for employers to participate in a job fair to be held March 7.

The 15th annual Career/Job Fair is aimed at helping sophomore and junior students who are seeking employment and who are seeking more information about career paths and job opportunities.

“Today’s commitment leads to tomorrow’s success,” said job fair organizer Joseph Hall, the high school’s vocational director.

The event will be held from 8:30 to 10:45 a.m. in Gym 2 at the school, 1717 17th St. Admission is free.

Companies are invited to share an overview of their business and what education is required for success in their respective fields. Representatives will be provided six feet of table space on a first-come, first-served basis.

Items for drawings for students, including gift certificates, products or other appropriate gifts, are also being sought.

Participants are asked to provide their company name, mailing address, contact person and contact information.
