Lindenhurst
DUI: Robert Haisman, 35, of 38845 N. Gilliam, unincorporated Lake Villa was arrested recently for driving under the influence of alcohol after he struck a parked car at 930 Cedar Lake. Gilliam’s blood-alcohol content was .160, twice the legal limit.
Warrant arrest: Modena Stinnette, 41, of 120 Fairlawn Drive, Round Lake Beach, was arrested Feb. 10 for an outstanding Illinois State Police warrant for criminal trespass to a motor vehicle in Maywood in 1995. She was released on $500 cash bond.
Vernon Hills
Retail theft: Maria Martinez, 39, of 560 Vine Ave., Highland Park, was arrested and charged with retail theft after she attempted to leave JC Penny on Feb. 12 with $24 worth of jewelry. She was also in possession of stolen clothing, police said.
Warrant arrest: Keith Plucker, 45, of Silver Lake, Wis., turned himself in to police on a warrant for battery Feb. 8 for an incident in January where he grabbed a waitress at the Tilted Kilt.
Waukegan
Child endangerment: Anthony Valazquez, 29, of Waukegan was charged with one count of child endangerment after he allegedly left his two children, ages 3 and 4, to go to the grocery store. On Jan. 30, just after 7 p.m., a tow truck driver called police after finding the two young girls wandering the street in pajamas in the 4100 block of Continental Drive. Valazquez called about 30 minutes later. He told police he had just moved into town and he put them both down for a nap and then went to the grocery store. His wife was at work. The Illinois Department of Children and Family Services was notified by police. The offense is a misdemeanor.
Criminal sex assault: Police are looking for a man named “Lenny” from Green Bay, Wis., in connection with the rape of a woman who went to sleep in a bedroom at a party. Police said the woman and a friend told police that they were at a party the night of Feb. 5 in the 600 block of North Avenue when one woman went into a bedroom to lay down because she was not feeling well. At one point, the friend went to check on her and the door was locked. She pounded on the door and a man, only known as “Lenny,” came out with his shirt off and his pants undone. The woman’s underwear was off. The friend took her to Vista Medical Center East in Waukegan where a rape kit was done in the emergency room.

Retail theft: Jazmin Camacho, 22, of Grayslake was charged with retail theft for stealing a ring worth $40 from Kohls.
Retail theft: Gomezmyra Bernal De, 35, of Waukegan was charged with retail theft for stealing perfume worth $49.99 from Marshalls Megastore.
Retail theft: Rosario Cortez Gonzalez, 20, of Waukegan was charged with retail theft for stealing two sets of earrings worth $74 from Kohls.
Retail theft: Gerardo Orihuela-Teyoa, 37, of Waukegan was charged with retail theft for stealing $30 of perfume from Kohls.
DUI: Marc Deluca, 52, of Gurnee was charged with DUI and improper lane usage.
Retail theft: Maria Collazo, 57, of Waukegan was charged with retail theft for stealing sunglasses and jewelry from Kohls.
Retail theft: Sergio Montoya, 23, of Waukegan was charged with retail theft for stealing clothes from Sears Grand.
Drug possession: Dano Hammond, 20, of Winthrop Harbor was charged with possession of cannabis, possession with intent to deliver and possession of drug paraphernalia.
