Gurnee

Underage consumption: Deante McKinney, 19, of Zion and Abdul Rosenje, 20, of Beach Park were cited with illegal consumption by a minor.

Retail theft: Nicole Lidstrom, 18, of Trevor, Wis., and Kristin Bajek, 19, of Lake Villa were charged with theft. Alledgedly, Lidstrom stole $60.99 worth of merchandise and Bajek stole $241.97 worth of merchandise from Sears Grand.

Weapons charge: Harold Albergottie, 54, of South Carolina was charged with aggravated unlawful use of a weapon, criminal damage to state supported property, DUI, illegal transportation of alcohol and parking more than 12 inches away from the curb.

Waukegan

Robbery attempt: A woman who had just been dropped off by a co-worker Tuesday night around 11:30 in the 200 block of Butrick Street told police that a man came up behind her and put his hand over her mouth. She told him the bag she had only had tools from work and he could have it. Then she started screaming and the man fled. The man was wearing all black, including a mask on his face, but she believed he was a black male because of how he talked. A K-9 unit was brought to the scene, but they could not find the offender.

Round Lake Beach

Fake money: Anna Kacso, 20, of 1807 N. Cedar Lake Road, Round Lake Beach, was arrested Wednesday and charged with possession of counterfeit $50 bills after she passed two fake bills on different occasions at a business in town.

Retail theft: Joanna Radke, 48, of 3 Cedar Court #5, Vernon Hills, was arrested Aug. 18 after taking $264.36 worth of merchandise from Kohl’s.

Warrant arrests: Edwardo Contreras, 18, unknown address, was arrested Aug. 17 on a warrant for criminal sexual abuse after an argument at LA Fitness led to police being called to the store.

Burglary arrest: Christopher Griffel, 18, of 1521 Round Lake Drive, Round Lake Beach, was arrested Aug. 13 on a warrant for burglary.

Failure to appear: Martin Von Oepen, 52, OF 204 Countryside, Lindenhurst, was arrested Aug. 13 on a warrant for failure to appear in court.

Will County warrant: Michael Deram, 22, of 1125 Crestfield, Libertyville, was arrested Aug. 12 on a Will County warrant for battery and DUI after he called for rescue from Thornton’s service station after he was involved in a fight in the 1600 block of Hickory. He was intoxicated and refused to cooperate.

Disorderly conduct: Nicole Davis, 40, of 1514 N. North Ave., Round Lake Beach, was arrested Aug. 13 after threatening her neighbor ,and police found she was wanted on warrants from Lake and McHenry counties.

Criminal damage: Police are looking for two white males who caused $750 worth of damage to the property at Dairy Queen, including two garbage cans.

Battery: Daniela Reyes, 19, of 1601 North Ave., Round Lake Beach, was arrested Aug. 16 after she struck another employee at Dunkin’ Donuts after a verbal altercation about who should do more work.

Traffic arrest: Jacob Mankowski, 21, of 411 Harvey, Grayslake, was arrested Aug. 10 for possession of a stolen motor vehicle, burglary to a motor vehicle and hit and run after he was dropped off at PNC Bank by Grayslake police and then he stole a customer’s vehicle from the Pep Boys parking lot, but he struck the McDonald’s building while trying to flee. He was eventually located in Gurnee.
