A number of car burglaries occurred between Oct. 16 and Oct. 20, in northeast Libertyville.
Most of the vehicles were unlocked and in a driveway, garage or alley. Two vehicles had windows broken to gain access and a convertible had its top cut.
Items taken include a wallet, a purse, driver’s licenses, ID, ATM card, gift and credit cards, a Garmin GPS, a garage door remote, CDs, cash and coins.
The burglaries happened in the 500 block of North 2nd Street, 700 block of Meadow Lane, 100 block of Broadway Street, 200 block of Broadway Street, 100 block Church Street, 300 block of North First Street, 200 block of North Avenue, and 200 block of Newberry Avenue.
