College of Lake County levy hearing Nov. 20

GRAYSLAKE — A public hearing on the College of Lake County tax levy will be held as part of the board of trustees meeting Nov. 20 on the Grayslake campus.
The tax rate for all funds is estimated to be 26.6 cents per $100 in equalized assessed valuation, according to David Agazzi, vice president for administrative affairs. The college also is beginning preparation of the fiscal year 2014 budget for the year covering July 1, 2013, to June 30, 2014.
The Lake County Clerk’s Office will determine the actual amount of the levy after applying the tax cap formula and computing new property added to the tax base.
