North Chicago
Meeting: A Town Hall meeting will be held at 2 p.m. Dec. 15 at the North Chicago Public Library, 2100 Argonne Drive. Organized by mayoral candidate and 3rd Ward Alderman Valerie DeVost, the meeting will include a discussion of water rate increases, community policing, concerns over future property tax increases and school board and animal rights issues. Speakers will include North Chicago schools Superintendent Ben Martindale.
