Four finalists for two judicial openings

Four finalists were named Wednesday for two Lake County associate judgeships.
Elizabeth Rochford of Lake Forest and D. Christopher Lombardo of Vernon Hills are finalists for the opening created by the retirement of Associate Judge Wallace Dunn.
Rochford is a sole practioner, while Lombardo is a partner in the law office of D. Christopher Lombardo.
For the vacancy created by the election of Associate Judge Thomas Schippers to a full circuit judge, Joseph Salvi of Hawthorn Woods and Janelle Christensen of Lindenhurst, are the finalists. Salvi is a partner in the law firm of Salvi, Salvi & Wifler, while Christensen is a Lake County assistant state’s attorney.
The Administrative Office of the Illinois Courts will prepare the ballots for the county’s full-circuit judges and tabulate the votes in Springfield.
