Waukegan

Battery: Police are looking for five men who approached two high school students walking to school Dec. 17 at 7:30 a.m. and tried to rob one student of a cellphone and cash. The other student tried to intervene saying his friend didn’t have any money and one of the five suspects punched him in the face and then everyone fled. The suspects did not get anything.

Antioch

Violations: Tracy Leatherman, 34, 297 Joanna Court, was arrested and charged Dec. 17 with violation of an order of protection and violation of bail bond. She was taken to Lake County bond court.

Warrant: Colleen Willis, 41, 295 Joanna Court, was arrested Dec. 17 on an outstanding warrant and taken to Lake County jail.

Violation: Marie Sutherland, 46, Trevor, Wis., was arrested Dec. 17 at Main Street and Joanna Court and charged with violation of a stalking no-contact order and taken to Lake County jail.

Battery: Paul Blanas, 22, 707 Lake St., was arrested Dec. 18 at his home and charge with domestic battery.

DUI: Cody Hamel, 23, 803 Anita, was arrested Dec. 20 at his home and charged with aggravated DUI, driving with a revoked license and disobeying a stop sign. He has a hearing at Lake County courthouse Jan. 18.

Retail theft: Tabitha Anderson, 34, 3305 Emmaus Ave., Zion, was arrested at Walmart Dec. 21 and charged with retail theft and disorderly conduct. She has a court hearing Jan. 25 in Waukegan.

Battery: Robert Stitt, 41, 43412 Cox Drive was charged with battery Dec. 22 at Antioch Music, 911 Main St. He has a hearing at Lake County Courthouse Jan. 25.

Obstruction: David Watson, 54, 780 Main St., was charged Dec. 23 with obstructing a peace officer at his home. He has a court hearing in Waukegan Jan. 14.

Lake Villa

Traffic charges: Paul Rzdzialik, 18, 370 Prescott Lane, Gurnee, was charged Dec. 30 with failure to reduce speed to avoid an accident, red light violation, attempting to leave the scene of an accident, reckless driving, underage drinking and possession of alcohol. He has a North Branch Court hearing Feb. 13.
