LINDENHURST — Village officials have scheduled a public information open house on Lindenhurst’s drinking water supply.
The meeting will be held Jan. 21 from 6 to 8 p.m. at the Lake County Forest Preserve Operation Facility, 19808 W. Grand Ave., Lindenhurst.
The session will provide residents the opportunity to obtain information on the village’s current drinking water supply system and efforts to secure a permanent, long-term solution to the community’s drinking water needs through Lake Michigan water.
Village officials will be available at a series of stations to provide information on the project and to answer questions.
