Four containers

Here we go again. Zion’s new disposal company, Advanced Disposal, didn’t pick up our recyclables again this week. Instead of two containers out there, now I have four containers on the curb. We pay $8,000 a year in taxes for this? Go figure.

Behind the time

Warren Township High School is letting the students do their work at home and do their homework at school. This is such a brilliant idea. It must have come up in the 1950s because that what I was doing. We would mess around during class and then go home and have fun doing nothing. That is not something new. They are way behind the times.

Liberal media handbook

Many in the media world are attacking, in their foolishness, Sen. Marco Rubio for — wait for it — taking a drink of water. What an amazing thing to do. Perhaps we should take a message from the liberal media handbook and suggest that they’re attacking Sen. Rubio because he is Latino. They would never venture to do that against a white politician.

Standing down

They had a live feed when they were raiding the compound for bin Laden. Where was the live feed to the White House when Benghazi was being attacked? I know for a fact there are Navy SEALs and Rangers stationed all around that area that could’ve been there within 45 minutes to an hour to help. Who told those people to stand down? I think it’s a disgrace and something should be done about it.

Best chief?

The candidates running for the mayor of Waukegan say they would not reinstate our police chief. I think he’s one of the best police chiefs we’ve had for Waukegan. The candidates don’t know what they are talking about.
