‘Be The Match’ donor registry

Aderilyn Owen-Lee of Waukegan uses a cotton swab to take DNA from her cheek to enter the "Be The Match" donor registry during a event to honor Winthrop Harbor's Cory Batz who past away last year from lymphoma. A “Be The Match” donor registry event to honor Winthrop Harbor’s Cory Batz, who passed away last year from lymphoma was held at the Zion Park District building Saturday, Feb. 16. Attendees were allowed to enter the donor registry to see if they were compatible a matches for people in need of bone marrow.
