WAUKEGAN — For the second time this year, a Cricket Wireless store on the city’s South Side was a victim of an armed robbery during a heavy snowstorm.
Police were looking for two black male suspects. They entered the store at 804 10th St., around 2:30 p.m. Tuesday and took $300 before fleeing. It was unknown if they brandished a weapon.
The same store was robbed Jan. 29 by a black male with braids in his hair who escaped with about $500. Police were waiting for pictures from corporate headquarters to help identify the robber.
It’s unknown if corporate responded to the police request. Police were unavailable for comment due to the snowstorm.
