Fact of life

This is regarding the new regulations concerning abortions in Texas. I agree that abortion is a terrible thing, but I’m afraid they’re opening the door to more closet abortion clinics where women are going to die because they will be butchered. They’re not doing a service to anybody by making abortions restricted. People are going to get them no matter where they can. That’s a fact of life.

Let it rest

Kudos to the reader that pointed out that whites are now being profiled. It’s come to reverse discrimination. Each weekend in Chicago, dozens of blacks kill other blacks. Blacks kill whites in cold-blooded murders and mothers kill their babies. All of which are terrible crimes and awful tragedies, but not much is said of these crimes. Zimmerman was found not guilty in a court of law. Let it rest.

Ban divorce

If you Christians really wanted to maintain the sanctity of marriage, then you would fight to ban couples from getting divorced, not ban gay people that love each other from marriage.

Diversity is good

I am working at the Bristol Renaissance Faire this summer. Every day, I hear at least a half-dozen different languages being spoken by the customers. Nothing makes me feel more at home.

Lack of enforcement

Gurnee has blocked sidewalks with cars and Waukegan has blocked sidewalks with recreational vehicles. Both towns are lacking in law enforcement.

Spending, greed

No surprise, every state that is run by the Democrats are having problems, because of their spending and greed.

Keep coal

I applaud Harold Beading and Lisa May for standing up to the Sierra Club and trying to keep that coal plant up and running. As for them bringing in people with asthma, that was such a wrong ploy because the people who grew up in Waukegan know that plant has been around for a long time and only recently we are hearing about asthma. We need to stand up to the Sierra Group and let them move on to their next town to cause their troubles. Keep coal in Waukegan.

Face the truth

Let’s tell the truth or stay ignorant in the shadows forever. The majority of black killings are committed by other blacks. Not the Klan, the police, or NRA members. Some race haters keep saying that the white man is unduly killing the black man off. Not true. Until we face the truth of what the real problems are, we’re doomed by the multitude of false facts. Two plus two equals four, not three or five. Let’s tell the truth so we can work on the real problems.

Problem vs. solution

Recently somebody complained in TOTC about Republicans not being part of the solution. I wish Democrats would stop being part of the problem and start being part of the solution. The cost of living has gone up tremendously and the quality of life has reduced under the current administration. Take a look at Detroit which has been run by Democrats for decades and now they’re bankrupt, people have left and crime is terrible. Every major city and state in the country that is run by Democrats have fiscal problem. Republican-run states and their finances are in much better shape then the democratic states. The same goes for the federal government. Obama has more than doubled the national debt since he’s been in office. Democrats are the problem and Republicans might not be the solution, but they sure have a better grasp on fiscal issues then the Democrats do. I’m neither party, I’m an independent who tends to vote Republican.

What am I?

My dad is Caucasian and my mother is Okinawan. What does that make me? Caucasian or Asian? I’m half and half.

Call assessor

To the person who commented about not being able to receive Senior Freeze and Senior Citizen Homestead Exemption, you’re entitled to both. If you’re 77 years old and make less than $25,000 a year, you’re entitled to both exemptions. My suggestion to you is to call the County Assessor’s office and talk with them. Apparently you’ve taken people at their word. I advice you to call.
