Battery
Don Nielsen, 24, of Lake Villa was arrested and charged with battery for alledgedly getting into a fight in the 1400 block of Garnet Court in Gurnee. An ex-fiancee and neighbor got into a fight that resulted in one subject getting pushed through a window. Nielsen was released from custody on a signature bond.

Antioch
Theft arrest: Brittany Davila, 23, of Wildomar, Calif., was arrested and charged with retail theft June 29 following an incident at Piggly Wiggly, 460 Orchard St. She was freed on bond pending a court hearing July 20 in Waukegan.
Theft arrest: Tijuana Goodwin, 26, of 277 Oakridge Court was charged with retail theft from Piggly Wiggly, 460 Orchard St., on June 29. She was referred to adjudication court.
DUI: Joseph Bartolotta, 24, of 1056 Autumn Drive was arrested and charged with possession of marijuana, DUI and improper lane use on June 30. He was freed on $300 bond pending a court hearing July 26 in Waukegan.
Grayslake
DUI: James Hartshorne, 38, of 32959 N. Sears Boulevard, Grayslake was arrested after a traffic stop July 1 at Slusser Street and Oak Avenue when he failed to signal a turn. He was charged with DUI, no driver’s license, no valid registration and failure to signal, police said.
DUI: Dollya Hassan, 21, of 2524 Linden Ave., Waukegan was charged with improper lane usage, DUI, no valid driver’s license and improper lane use July 2 after a traffic stop on Center Street, police said.
DUI: Bonnie Dervis, 33, of 1813 W. Sunnyside Beach Drive, Johnsburg, was arrested and charged with DUI on July 2 after being stopped on Route 120, police said.
DUI: Latoya Landrum, 34, of 2405 Miriam Ave., Zion was charged with DUI, driving on a suspended license, obstruction of justice and failure to signal on July 2, police said.
DUI: Ian Charles Thomas, 21, of 32366 N. Alleghany Road, Grayslake, was charged with DUI and failure to signal July 2, police said.
Gurnee
Theft: A tire was stolen from a parked car at Six Flags Great America.
Retail theft: Nasser Djadalizadeh, 38, of Waukegan, was charged with retail theft for allegedly stealing a video game worth $80 from Sears Grand. He was released on a recognizance bond.
Retail theft: Laura Martinez, 30, of Waukegan, was charged with retail theft for allegedly stealing $66 worth of cosmetic items from Wal-Mart.
DUI: Jovo Puhar, 51, of Chicago, was charged with aggravated DUI and aggravated DUI on a revoked driver’s license after he was observed at a gas pump.
Burglary: The front passenger window in a car parked at Lonestar Steakhouse was broken and a purse was stolen out of the vehicle.
Residential burglary: An air conditioner, cameras and computers were stolen from a garage in the 1600 block of Dolcetto Lane.
Theft: Andrea Shaw, 20, of Milwaukee, was charged with theft for allegedly stealing from a storage cubbie at Six Flags Great America. She was released from custody after posting a $150 cash bond.
Residential burglary: A residence near the intersection of Old Grand Avenue and Centennial Court was broken into. The back door to the vacant home was kicked in and a water meter was stolen.
Retail theft: Julita Stott, 68, was charged with retail theft for allegedly stealing $358 worth of clothes from Marshalls Megastore. She was released from custody after posting cash bond.
Retail Theft: Charmine Young, 21, of Waukegan, was charged with retail theft for allegedly stealing $103 worth of clothing from Sears Grand. She was released after posting $150 bond.
Lake Villa
Drugs: Kurt Bushing, 21, Ingleside, was charged June 25 with failure to dim headlights and possession of a controlled substance. He was taken to Lake County bond court.
Car burglaries: Police received three burglaries to motor vehicle reports on June 29. An iPod was stolen from a car in the 300 block of Greenview; sunglasses, a GPS and five CDs were stolen in the 1100 block of Beverly, and a GPS was taken in the 1100 block of Wilshire.
Burglaries: Two burglaries were reported July 2. Two rings were stolen from an apartment in the 300 block of North Milwaukee Avenue, and a laptop was taken from a home in the 1200 block of Pine Tree.
Libertyville
Stolen car: An unlocked $46,670 Cadillac SRX was reported stolen from Weil Cadillac Hummer, 1050 S. Milwaukee Ave., July 2. Onstar was activated and the vehicle was located in Chicago and towed back to the Libertyville dealership. There was no information on suspects or damage to the vehicle, police said.
Criminal damage: An employee at Lake Minear Beach, 600 Oak Spring Road, reported July 2 that someone had cut a cable line restraining safety buoys at the beach and that two weeks earlier someone relocated picnic benches, a picnic table and a row boat. Damage to the cable was estimated at $200.
DUI: John Watkins, 71, of 14856 Park Ave., Green Oaks, was charged with driving under the influence of alcohol July 1 after police found him slumped over the steering wheel of his vehicle while it was running in a parking space in the 500 block of Milwaukee Avenue, police said.
DUI: Elizabeth Gamber, 39, of 80 Warrington Drive, Lake Bluff, was charged with DUI, driving in the wrong lane, uninsured vehicle and no valid registration July 2 after she was stopped for driving in the wrong lane on Milwaukee Avenue near North Artaius Parkway at 1:15 a.m., police said.
Waukegan
Shooting: Police are investigating the shooting of a man early Friday morning in the 600 block of McAlister Avenue. The bullet collapsed his lung, but he is expected to recover at Vista Medical Center East, Waukegan. Police would only say the shooting occurred in the alley around 1:20 a.m. Friday.
