Study abroad: Alex Dintruff of Lake Bluff plans to study abroad and travel to Czech Republic: Brno during Fall of 2011.

Performer: Michael Wall of Wauconda is a cast member in the University’s “Seventh Annual Holiday Spectacular Show” Dec. 8-10. He is a graduate of Wauconda High School. The show will deck the halls with 90 minutes of joyful music, skits, and improv merriment.

Evansville, Ind.
Performer: Melanie Bacaling of Gurnee performed in “Die Fledermaus”, a UE Schmidt Opera Series production. Bacaling, majoring in Music Performance, played the role of Chorus.
University of Kansas, Lawrence
Scholar: Taylor Cammack, son of Jon Cammack of Libertyville, was honored as 2011 Business Minor Scholars. Cammack is studying sport science. He has completed at least nine hours of coursework in the business minor program with a 4.0 GPA and is currently a full-time student. The students received a one-time award of $250 for each completed course.
