Four eighth-grade students at Prairie Crossing Charter School in Grayslake scored scholarships to Carmel Catholic High School for high test scores.

“Different is the New Normal,” will air the story of Ariel Small, a senior at Highland Park High School. The film focuses on the stigma of the neurobiological disorder as it loosely follows Ariel’s overcoming of obstacles while busting the misconceptions surrounding Tourette’s. It will air on PBS nationally in May 2012.

The most popular version of the most popular book ever printed, the Christian Holy Bible, is the subject of the next Friends of the University Library lecture Nov. 17 at 7 p.m. University of Wisconson-Parkside, 900 Wood Road.
