Like every other league in the state, the North Suburban Conference selects all-conference teams in various sports throughout the season.

The NSC, however, also picks an All-Sportsmanship Team for each of the three athletic seasons to honor athletes who best represent the spirit of competition and high ideals which are the foundation for athletic competition.

“The NSC athletic directors are very proud of these recipients and their role in helping promoting sportsmanship for their sports and teams,” said Mark Pos, athletic director at Warren High School.

Schools nominated one athlete in each of the fall sports — boys golf, girls golf, girls volleyball, boys soccer, girls tennis, girls swimming, boys cross country, girls cross country and football.

If a school didn’t have a Sportsmanship honoree in a sport, it’s because that school doesn’t compete in that sport.
