No one knew it when the day started, but Jim Lindell of Vernon Hills really was the host with the most at golf outing last week Friday at Bonnie Brook GC in Waukegan.
Weston Solutions of Vernon Hills held its annual company golf outing at Bonnie Brook, and the event was organized by Lindell.
One of the things he did was have a hole-in-one competition on the third hole in which anyone who carded an ace there would win a new truck.
Surely you can tell where this is going.
On the 169-yard third hold, it was Lindell who hit a 5-iron off the tee and had the ball drop into the cup for a truck-winning ace.
As a result, he drove home in a 2013 GMC Sierra truck that was donated by Anthony Buick GMC of Gurnee.
