This is the final weekend for regular-season play in The Chicagoland Youth Football League.
But that doesn’t mean the fun and games are over.
Beginning next week, there will be a series of playoff games, which will eventually lead to champions being crowned in every age/weight class.
In the Sunday Heavyweight League (players who will be in high school next year), our area’s best teams include Grayslake, Zion-Benton, Mundelein and Vernon Hills.
All four of those teams have 7-1 record. Cary is the only beaten team in the class.
