Boys basketball players currently in grades 6-8 who attend schools that feed into Waukegan High should circle Saturday and Sunday on their calendars.
Those are the tryout dates for the Waukegan Feeder Basketball Program. There will be separate teams for each school grade.
Tryouts are from 4-6 p.m. both days at Waukegan High’s Dog Pound (Washington & Jackson).
Players who make the team will practice three times per week, have study table twice a week, and play games against other travel teams on weekends.
Waukegan High varsity basketball coach Ron Ashlaw is involved in the program, as is Jim Ross.
