Nine earn all-league honors

Nine members of the men’s and women’s soccer programs at the College of Lake County in Grayslake earned first-team All-Skyway Conference honors.
In addition, CLC women’s coach Saverio Traversa was named Coach of the Year in the league and the Lancers’ Chelsea Wooldridge-Knaack was picked as Player of the Year.
The women’s soccer team was Skyway Conference champion, with a final record of 5-0-1.
Seven Lancer women’s soccer players were named to the all-conference team.
They included goalie Wooldridge-Knaack, defender Jocelyn Gaughran (Grayslake Central High grad), , midfielder Caitland Nance (Grayslake Central), forward Sarah Burnett (Grayslake Central), defender Sara Stiefel (Stevenson), forward Gabriel Will (Mundelein), and defender Elise Grzbinick (Barrington).
Two members of the men’s soccer team made all-conference.
They were Juan Bermundez (Zion-Benton) and Andrei Alvarez (Libertyville). The team’s final conference record was 3-4-0.
